If you PC is not responding when you try to boot up Windows XP
If your PC is not responding when you attempt to boot up then you need to boot in the “Safe Mode” using the “Device Manager”. This will allow you to recognize the problem if it is associated with a device driver. You will then be able to use the “System Restore” utility in order to restore the function of Windows XP.

1. Restart your computer.
